Motoko says hello!
A new audio/visual agency has landed in the heart of The Hague.
Motoko produces films, commercials, music videos, title sequences and animations. With an emphasis on post-production, we use traditional and new techniques, from film to two- and three-dimensional animation and graphic design. Typical clients include broadcast and advertising agencies, production companies, record labels, bands, brands, and artists. And you.
We have built our reputations through experience in the Dutch film and motion design business. Mark Visser (Creative Director) was a co-founder of Creative Agency Post Panic and worked as creative director for Nike, MTV Networks, Amstel and DSM, among others. Jeroen Schellekens (Creative Director) developed his skills on editing and post-production for several commercials and music videos in the past years.
Motoko's out-of-the-box thinking results in aesthetic and expressive solutions. We strive to produce buzz-worthy work, from concept to content, on a national and international level.
Sharing offices in The Hague with <>TAG, a platform for art and creative technology, brings a further level of energy and inspiration to our work.
How integrated are you

The Green Party of the council in The Hague is curious to know if the citizens of the city are aware of their surrounding environment with all its cultural diversity. Five days before election day the Greens are giving a clear signal to Geert Wilders' PVV: embrace the unknown.

Currently working on an 8 minute promofilm for
Danslab (The Hague). Together with 'Processing' guru Marcus Graf, we're involving shots that blend live action footage with motion-captured choreography, to visualize the beauty of movement on an abstract level. Danslab is an initiative that stimulates the development and exchange in choreography, dance and research.

De Culturele Staat - an alliance of several creative and cultural organisations in The Hague.
This presentation was the kick-off for the
People Making Stuff Festival 2008: a short film about The Hague becoming the Cultural Capital of the European Union in 2018. The film's main character - a spaceman from the future - then appeared on-stage to hand over “De Culturele Staat Manifest” to the new deputy mayor Marieke Bolle of Culture and Finance The Hague.

Danslab Promo
Thursday, 10 October 2009
Danslab, where pro's and students reinvent dance by study, inspired us to unravel the vibrations inside ourselves. These movements are basic human motions and reveal our inner needs to give expression. Bullshit? You might be right, although it was a great excuse to experiment together with 'Processing' Meister
Marcus Graf.
TodaysArt 2009
Friday, 10 October 2009
This promotion campaign around TodaysArt 2009 caused some nervous moments in the City Hall of The Hague. All the commotion led to an
arrest of Todaysart director Olof van Winden by the Dutch antiterrorist police force. The viral videos as part of the concept "Friend or Foe?" are based on the
posters by Peter Zuiderwijk. We hope the explicit images won't incite to hostile action, because it should be clear: "Ceci n'est pas un explosif".
